Last Summer Wedding

It was August and no joke, it had to be the hottest day of the summer in New Hampshire. I say about 98 degrees and 100% humidity. So hot in fact, that sitting in the back of a Jeep Wrangler with suit coat off and cruising about 45-50 mph, I still managed to sweat through my shirts. Yes, shirts, plural.

There was no air conditioning in the chapel which led to the shortest ceremony I have ever been a part of. It had to be about 10 minutes, tops! Walk in, "I do" and out we went.

If you take a look from the inside you can probably tell that there was no air in the building and that a giant piece of plaster is missing from the wall. Surprised the power was working really. Man, did I love this place. I could have stayed there all day just shooting the chapel. Anyway, the place is privately owned. The bride had to sweep and dust the place out the day before because the chapel isn't used anymore. Its just kind of there, on the side of the road, by itself.

Some of my favorite detail shots from my girlfriend's brother's wedding.

I will be adding more to this flickr collection soon.

Speaking of flickr - why can't I find a plugin that's not for wordpress? Anyone? Back to this in a later post.
