Attitude Adjustment

This blog was created with photography as the main focus but in reality it is for all things "me."

I love working on things with my hands and unfortunately, given our current living situation, this weekend is the first time in a long time that I have had the luxury of doing so.  I went out for a ride and shortly after relized my bike could use some much needed TLC.  It started with having to rotate the tires on my road bike as the rear was getting a bit flat on the center groove.  I forget how much fun it is to get my hands greasy all in the name of making something work the way it should or better.

I cleaned my gears and chain, replaced a tube and put it all back together.  During my ride I had an issue where my chain continued to pop off the sprocket, this meaning that my rear and front derailleur could use some adjusting.  I happened to do a google search a while back on something having to do with my bike and came across tons of bike maintenence videos.  This morning I searched "rear derailleur adjustment" and poof, a ton of vids on just that. I really hate youtubes video quality but when you get what you want I suppose the quality can be overlooked.

If I could do this type stuff forever, I think I would.
